The collection for the most part consists of the exuberant seventeenth and eighteenth-century silvers that testify to the wide availability of raw materi-als from the American mines and the history of a brand, "Torretta", which marked a vast production that ended around 1826, with the fall of the aris-tocratic republic. The Croce Cicali (end XI-XII century), a precious Byzan-tine staurotheca, deserves particular attention; the Reliquary of the hand of Santo Stefano (second half of the XII - end of the XIV century) and the Doria Repository (XVI-XVII century) intended for the celebrations of Holy Week, characterized by a high technical quality
