The Lanterna - the monumental complex of the Lighthouse of Genoa - is part of the “Mu.MA-Maritime and Migrations Museums”.
The Italian Navy grants free of charge the Municipality of Genoa the possibility of opening to the public of the lighthouse tower up to the first panoramic balcony. The proceeds from the ticket price support its promotion, development and ordinary management.
The APS Amici della Lanterna - “Friends of the Lighthouse” Association, promotes and supports events for the promotion and development of the monumental complex, in cooperation with PHAROS light for Heritage, cultural and creative enterprise developed from the last years management experience, who has been managing this monumental complex since 6 January 2020.
The monumental complex is now open 6 days a week, liven up by guided tours, events, family workshops and other activities by reservation.
