Furnishings

The precious furniture that decorates the villa, generally of local production, dates mainly to the XVIII century. Particularly noteworthy works include a 16th-century chest, decorated with carving, a pair of finely inlaid eighteenth-century drop-down chests of drawers/writing desks, some bedside tables and a drop-down set of drawers from the same period. Noteworthy are also two dolphin-shaped lamp holders from the early 18th century. The museum also has an important collection of wooden picture frames and mirrors of various origin. In the hall on the ground floor there is a rare, and precious, musical instrument, a Viennese pianoforte dating to the early 19th century.
